Kingspan Koolduct
January 2009 will see the start of the exclusive relationship between Kingspan Insulation and AC. Manufacturing, when AC. Manufacturing become the sole manufacturer of the Kingspan Koolduct product range in Ireland.
‘Kingspan Insulation has long been aware of the high quality standards and proven track record of AC. Manufacturing, and we are delighted to be working with them come the New Year.’ Jim Loughran, Commercial Director of Kingspan Insulation states. ‘We are confident that the production of Koolduct in Ireland will meet the demands for a system that exceeds current installation times, reduces air leakage and improves energy efficiency.’
The Kingspan Koolduct system is a unique and innovative pre-insulated air distribution ductwork system. It is lightweight, can be installed in a single fix installation and easily meets air leakage requirements of HVAC DW 144 – Class C.
Traditionally, air distribution ductwork is made of sheet metal which is installed first and then insulated separately as a second operation. Kingspan Koolduct System pre-insulated ductwork is installed in a single fix.

AC. Manufacturing was established in 1999 by John Aherne and Shay Connolly and currently manufacture a complete range of heating and ventilation ductwork as well as a full range of associated products and general steel fabrication. This new venture will see AC. Manufacturing expand and invest in new machinery.
AC. Manufacturing moved to a new state of the art premises in Stadium Business Park, Ballycoolin Road, in December 2007, and has increased its manufacturing module to 45,000 sq.ft.
